Restoration and cultural and touristic valorisation of the Tazlău Monastery Complex

Passionate about the restoration of national heritage buildings, we were glad to hear about the project “Restoration and tourist and cultural valorisation of the Tazlău Monastery Ensemble, Neamt County”!

One of the most beautiful foundations of Stephen the Great, Tazlau Monastery, with the church “Nativity of the Mother of God”, is among the most valuable monuments in Neamt County. Over the years, the condition of the buildings has deteriorated considerably. Apart from the monastery church, Tazlău still preserves the ruins of the reigning house of Stephen the Great and the defence wall built of river stone.

The Tazlau Monastery will be restored and included in the tourist and cultural circuit and we helped through #scanare3D to design and position an interior spiral staircase and the construction of the pe pe pew that will be designed and repositioned.

We support the restoration of #heritage buildings and believe that it would be good to monitor the behaviour of these buildings over time in order to be able to identify the transformations that have occurred. We are glad to partner with Ambulance for Monuments – South Transylvania – a project initiated in 2016 by the Monumentum Association.
