As a Geodetic Engineer, you will play a key role in engineering topography and construction site surveying, working with high-precision instruments, digital mapping, and geospatial data. Your contribution will directly impact the accuracy, efficiency, and success of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Accurate survey and staking of structural elements using total stations and GNSS systems.
- Interpreting structural drawings and providing technical guidance on-site.
- Ensuring execution timelines are met for project completion.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to optimize workflows.
- Assisting in the integration of digital topographic data into GIS and BIM platforms.
Who We’re Looking For – The Ideal Candidate
- You are motivated to grow – You are at the beginning of your career but eager to develop technical expertise and leadership skills.
- You have hands-on experience – Prior exposure to engineering topography, construction site surveying, or geospatial data collection is a plus.
- You’re a fast learner – Willing to master specialized equipment and digital tools such as AutoCAD, GNSS systems, and point cloud processing software.
- You thrive in teamwork – You collaborate easily, communicate clearly, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- You are flexible and mobile – Open to site visits, travel, and fieldwork to support ongoing projects.
Your Background & Skills
- Education in topography, geodesy, civil engineering, or a related field (university, post-secondary, or vocational school).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction site management, topographic surveying, or similar roles.
- Technical proficiency in AutoCAD & Microsoft Office; knowledge of GIS/BIM is a plus.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure efficiency on-site.
